What are polymer cabinets made of ?

A polymer cabinet consists of a wooden panel of MDF (medium density fiberboard ) covered by a flexible polymer sheet. The plastic (PVC) sheet is applied to the wood panel with heat on all sides of the panel to cover it completely.

Is polymer good for kitchen cabinets ?

They are very resistant to heat, humidity, delamination and scratches. Polymer (PET) cabinets are available in a wide variety of colors and finishes. For a contemporary or modern kitchen, opt for a glossy finish. If you prefer a farmhouse or Scandinavian style kitchen, go for silky or matte finishes.

Unlike melamine, Polymeric contains no joints. This means it is sealed from moisture and able to be produced in a variety of designs.
